Dr. Johan Reyes, MD, is a pain medicine physician dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of patients with acute and chronic pain. Board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, he brings advanced training in pain management and a patient-centered approach to helping patients improve function and quality of life.
Dr. Reyes earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics with Honors from Rutgers University before receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed his Internal Medicine internship at Hofstra North Shore–Long Island Jewish, followed by an Anesthesiology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Mount Sinai–St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York.
Since 2016 he has practiced pain medicine with Clearway Pain Solutions and Relievus. His training and experience in anesthesiology and pain medicine provide a strong foundation for the comprehensive management of patients experiencing pain.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Reyes has participated in research and academic activities, including research presented at national medical conferences. His work has included studies examining the effects of gestational propofol exposure and a systems-based initiative focused on emergency transportation. He has also been recognized for his commitment to patient care, leadership, compassion, and service, including the Albert P. Shih Humanitarian Award and membership in the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society.
